Last year for my birthday, I got a Franklin Planner, not the small compact one, but the large 8 1/2 by 11, so it could hold everything. I feel I am a fairly organized individual, but thought the FP could take me to the next level. I must admit, I love my FP. It does hold everything and is a great place to record anything/everything. I feel it is sort of scrapbooking, because it holds everything I have done in the year. I had a blast yesterday going back and reviewing my year. Here are a few of my accomplishments. I stamped over 500 cards, I mailed over 200 cards (not including the Christmas Telegram), I scrapbooked approximately 60 pages (really pathetic but only scrapped over two weekends this year), read over 30 books (including rereading the whole Harry Potter series), and between stamp camps and card selling, netted approximately $1500 (not bad for a "hobby"). It was really exciting to see what I had done over 2007 instead of feeling like all I ever do is laundry, dishes and kids stuff. I am looking forward to a new year and all the opportunites it holds. I think I will continue tracking all my stamp stuff, but I think I will add a few more, like movies watched(at the theater and at home, DVD's purchased, workouts etc. What can you track? Have fun! I promise I will learn more about blogging and get some pictures out soon. Thanks so everyone who left comments. It is so good to hear from you. I will be sure to learn how to add your blog address so I can keep up with you too. Happy 2008!!!

When I feel really lost because I have a blank week on my calendar, I usually panic that it's because I forgot to write down something of ultra importance that would take up lots of days. So that's when I get out my calendars from the last two years and make sure that I'm not forgetting something that recurs, like a birthday or retreat, that I thought I would remember. I should probably track more...Who has a memory after four kids?
Wow...you go girl! I'm so impressed with your time management skills! How do you find the time to read that many books? I'm sure that is a great stress reliever and something fun to reward yourself for being such a hard working momma! That's a neat idea to track all of those things!
Sorry I am just now getting to read this...
200 cards - wow! You are always so good about sending notes to people!
I liked reading your list. :o)
Amy,
Happy Birthday!!! Do you read this daily? Somehow I've lost your phone numbers...so call me.
You and Noah have a great day!
